Helene Palmer – Author – Content Creator – Online Entrepreneur

I started my online journey back in 2015 when I created her first blog. It was about golfing, which was an activity I shared with my father before his passing. I had been researching various niches and decided to focus on internet marketing and content creation.

I had the advantage of traveling extensively throughout the US and abroad by age 30. These trips were influential in developing my love for learning about different cultures and people in general. I also developed my love for writing throughout those years.

The unfortunate affliction of my mom’s breast cancer in 2006, and then the onset of her dementia in 2010 beckoned me to remain home as her caregiver. I loved my sweet mom, and so I took care of her to the best of my physical abilities until her passing in 2021.

Author

Inspired by the years of care giving for my mom, I embarked on writing a children’s book about my experiences in dealing with her dementia. The Kindle book “What Happened to Sally’s Grandma?” was born.

The main character Sally embodied a few of my personal experiences in dealing with my mom’s dementia. The storyline was from the standpoint of a little girl dealing with her grandmother’s onset of dementia. The story line is simple, heartwarming, and helpful for children to understand how they can potentially help within the family.

Online Entrepreneur

After the initial success of my golf blog, I set out to study the different aspects and strategies of running an Internet marketing business. I created a new blog based on these insights and shared that information with my followers and readers; thus PalmerProfits.com was born.
